spring day slide show

We had a great time coloring our eggs and hunting at grandma and grandpa kelly's. We had a wonderful dinner! We found coloring eggs a fulltime job, so we didn't get pictures of that. It is possible we were diverted by the bbasketball games. Next came the hunt. Michelle and chris hid the eggs then we sent them out in age groups. Becca and Susan were very different in their approaches. Becca opted for the traditional approach of grab as many as you can. Susan sauntered through the backyard pointing out the pretty eggs...it took encouraging for her to pick them up and put them in the basket. All the older children had the idea and Kalani was especially understanding as many of hte eggs she found she gave to Susan. Rest assured there was plenty of candy for everyone!

A friend sent me this darling, very soft blankie for Abi. I love her taste! The second picture is our BEST smilie picture so far...

Why my house didn't get tidied today..

This is why my house didn't get cleaned up this afternoon. Dinner was already made, so I just sat and held them both. Becca had insisted on holding the baby, and stirred any time I tried to move the baby.

1st cousin once removed in law

We had a visit from my first cousin once removed inlaw....Fiona and her wonderful family. It was so great to see them. The children had a wonderful time. It was obvious everyone was healthy (tons of running and noise!).

Becca loved Marc. He had her giggling like crazy...here he is plaing his guitar.
Here is Fiona and me with our darlings. Baby Daniel and Abi are the same size, though Daniel is one month younger. He is a real cutie! Beautiful Lydia is alays ready for a picture.

I asked Chris to squash Raymond or calm him down...he went for squashing him down...with help! Two dads on the floor is twice the fun.
